How to link parent and child matters
Overview:
This document explains how to connect related matters in Cubed by assigning parent and child relationships, how to review linked matters, and how to remove a link when it is no longer needed.
Linking matters gives your team a clearer view of how work fits together, reduces time spent hunting for related context, and helps general counsel see complex matters (such as multi-stream litigation, investigations, or transactions) in full. Following these steps keeps related work organised, easier to navigate, and easier to report on.
Key Steps:
1. Open the Matter and Go to Related Matters 0:16

- Use this tab to manage matter relationships in one place.
2. Assign a Parent Matter 0:34

- Select the appropriate parent matter from the list.
- Confirm the selection so the current matter is linked under the chosen parent.
