Overview

This release introduces enhancements to matter management, expanded configurability, and improvements to the user experience. It also includes key bug fixes to improve platform reliability.

External Counsel Field

Matters can now capture the name of external counsel directly within the record. This provides a clearer view of who is supporting each matter, improving collaboration and ensuring all key stakeholders are visible in one place.

Expanded Custom Fields

The number of available custom text and lookup fields has been increased, giving organisations greater flexibility to tailor Cubed to their specific legal processes. This enables more precise data capture and supports more structured reporting across matters.

First Assigned Date

The Matter details panel now displays the date a matter was first assigned. This improves transparency into matter progression and helps teams better understand timelines, resourcing, and responsiveness.

Updated Notifications Experience

Notifications have been updated to a toast-style format, providing clearer, more immediate feedback within the application. This helps users stay informed without interrupting their workflow, improving overall usability.

User Role Handling Fix

Resolved an issue that could cause errors when users had no roles assigned. This ensures a more stable experience during user setup and prevents access-related disruptions.

Workflow Reliability Improvement

Improvements have been made to the “When a matter email is received” workflow, increasing reliability in processing incoming emails and reducing the risk of missed or failed automation.
