Overview

This release includes updates to matter structure, custom fields, email signature settings, yearly numbering workflows, and file upload limits, enhancing how legal teams link related matters and manage larger contract files, while providing administrators with greater control over configuration and system management.

New Features

• Parent–Child Matter Relationships

  Related matters can now be linked using a parent/child structure to track dependencies.

• Custom Lookup Fields for Matters

  For customers with the Custom Fields Add-on, three new dropdown (Lookup) fields are available on Add/Edit and View Matter screens. Administrators can manage the options for these fields.

• Yearly Auto Number Reset Workflow (Matters and Contracts)

  Automatic reset of numbering at the start of each year for matters (e.g., MA-YY1000) and contracts (e.g., CTR-YY1000).

• Email Signature Customisation

  Administrators can now update the text used for email signatures sent from Cubed.

• Custom Lookup Field Management

  Administrators can manage dropdown options for Custom Fields, allowing tailored configuration for matter intake and tracking.

• First assigned date

  The date a matter is first assigned to a lawyer is now captured in the database. This field is available for reporting.

Improvements

• Increased Maximum File Size for Contracts

  Contract files can now be uploaded up to 50MB, up from the previous 10MB limit.
